1. Nature of the website
This website is a non-commercial, informational interface that displays information about the Onepot smart contract, an open-source MIT-licensed project. The website does not provide custody, brokerage, advisory, payment processing, or any financial service. The website does not currently allow any deposit, withdrawal, or transaction. The smart contract has not been deployed.
2. No financial product
The Onepot smart contract is software. It is not a lottery, gambling service, casino, betting platform, investment fund, security, deposit account, savings account, money transmission service, e-money product, or any regulated financial instrument. No entity offers, sells, markets, or operates the contract as a product. The prize draws referenced on this website are operated by Megapot, an independent third party. The Onepot project is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or guaranteed by Megapot, Aave, Base, Coinbase, or any of their affiliates. The contract pays Megapot's referral commission to a hardcoded referrer address under Megapot's public referrer mechanics; this commission is paid by Megapot, not by depositors, and is outside the scope of the smart contract.
3. No advice
Nothing on this website constitutes investment, legal, tax, financial, accounting, or other professional advice. The contributors are not your fiduciary, broker, advisor, custodian, or counterparty.
4. Risk acknowledgement
Any future interaction with the Onepot smart contract may result in the total loss of deposited funds. Causes of loss may include, without limitation: smart contract bugs and exploits; oracle failures; failures or exploits in dependencies (Aave V3, Megapot); admin key compromise during the operational phase; regulatory action; tax liability; infrastructure outages; and user error. The contract has not been audited by a professional security firm. Read the risks page in full before considering any future interaction.
5. Geographic restrictions
The smart contract may be illegal or restricted in some jurisdictions. The website does not target any specific country and is not directed to residents of any jurisdiction in which accessing or interacting with the contract would be unlawful. By accessing this website, you represent and warrant that doing so is lawful in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for verifying the legality of any future interaction with the contract.
6. Open source
The website source and the smart contract source are released under the MIT License. Anyone may copy, modify, fork, audit, or self-host the source. The contributors do not operate alternative frontends and are not responsible for any third-party frontend, fork, or modification of the source.
7. No warranty
The website and the smart contract are provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability, or absence of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the contributors, deployers, and any party associated with the development or hosting of the website or smart contract shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of, or inability to use, the website or smart contract, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
9. No fiduciary or agency relationship
Nothing in this website creates an agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and any contributor. The contributors do not act on your behalf or hold any duty toward you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the contributors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, action, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the website, your interaction with the smart contract, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Changes
These Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "last updated" date above will be revised when material changes are made.
12. Governing law and forum
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the website shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales, except that the contributors may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. This clause is provisional and may be revised in a future update.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Risks and About pages and the licensing terms of the source repositories, constitute the entire agreement between you and the contributors regarding the website.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the website. By using the website, you confirm you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
